Taishan is a panda bear born at the Sithsonian National Zoological Park in Washinton on July 9, 2005. He was nicknamed Butterstick at first but the name Taishan was chosen eventually which means ‘Peaceful Mountain’. This cub is the most popular panda in the world with a live webcam that monitors him in the zoo. 10 more pics after the jump.
